Big Brother Opens His House For Its 16th Season: Recap, Cast, and Some Spoilers

Big Brother is back for the 16th season with new sets of houseguests, new twists and Julie Chen again to host the reality series!
Big Brother Season 16 began airing on June 25 and 26 for its two-night premiere at CBS with Julie Chen as host since July 2000. This season is the earliest premiere date for a summer season in the U.S yet. With its return comes a new set of house guests who are from 21-42 age bracket, with different occupations such as a police officer, barista, sales account executive, DJ, make-up artist, a YouTube personality, groundskeeper, a photographer and so forth.
With 16 houseguests comes along a new and upgraded twist - like the Battle of the Block, having 2 Head of the Households that would vie for their own suite. Team America, where it involves public voting and choosing 3 of the houseguests who would be each other's alliance inside the house to work together in performing secret missions throughout the entire season.
The show has already aired 7 episodes (as of July 11) with an average of 5.91 million viewers in the U.S. On Day 14, houseguest Joey Van Pelt was evicted which was then followed by houseguest Paola Shea on Day 21. So far, only two of the house guests were yet to be evicted from the Big Brother house, and the cycle continues until we are left off with one winner at the end of the season.
The 8th episode will be aired on July 12 with more fun and drama only on CBS.
