Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus VS. HTC One M8 Features, Specs, Latest News, Updates: A Comprehensive Comparison and Review
Korean tech giant Samsung once again hits the headlines with their widely popular S5 extension Galaxy S5 Plus. The S titled phones has been the most successful smartphone series from Samsung but it will not be easy task for Samsung to grab the market where iPhone 6, DROID Turbo, Nexus, HTC One M8 are the competitors on the race. The strong smartphone plotlines are providing their best-advanced technology to attract the tech enthusiasts. Let's have a quick review on Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus and HTC One M8.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is expected to appear in November representing a 5.1-inch display size with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution. The display quality will be vivid, crispy and sharp as 432 pixels per inch pixel density will be framed in the 5.1-inch screen. The display type is the latest Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen where Corning Gorilla Glass protects the screen. Meanwhile HTC One M8 comes with its uniqueness that represents 441 pixels per inch pixel density in a 5.0-inch mainframe. The display type is Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen. The display resolution contains 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and the HTC built Sense version 6 user interface remains in the set.
Samsung is now dealing with the 16MP rear pack camera as the innovation Galaxy Note 4 and the unreleased Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus both of them shares the same camera sensor. The front camera is equipped with the 2MP sensor. Other smartphone HTC One M8 just losses the track of greatness in the camera department. In the specification section GSMARENA, the One M8 can be seen packed with dual 4MP camera sensor at the back while the front camera holds 5MP sensor. The HTC One M8 camera department is a source of disappointment as 4 or 5MP camera in a high-end smartphone stands nowhere near other competitors.
According to Android GS webpage, the hardware department of Samsung Galaxy S5 carries Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset that supports Quad-Core 2.5 GHz Krait 450 processor. The GPU segment is added with Adreno 420 chip. The HTC One M8 also comes with powerful specification with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset along with Quad-Core 2.3GHz processor for the US/EMEA version and 2.5 GHZ processor for the Asia or China version. The GPU segment trails the S5 Plus with Adreno 330 chip.
Both the devices has 16/32 GB internal storage model with 128GB expandable memory storage facility. Both of them are powered by 2GB of RAM slot and comes with Android version 4.4.2KitKat.
