Apple Watch Price in USA: 3 Models Available Soon
When it comes to the future of technology, Apple always has something different to offer. First it was the iMacs, and then the iPhones; after that, they created the iPod, followed by the iPad, and now the Cupertino giant is gearing up for the wearable technology wave, which is supposedly the future of smartphones.
A couple of years ago, the smartwatch was merely a work of fiction that you'd only expect in spy movies. However, as of October 2014, Android models like the Samsung Gear have led everyone to understand that such a wearable tech device is possible. And now, in line with its established reputation, Apple has taken the product-development process one step further by making its own smartwatch design—and it is truly good-looking and functional.
According to tech estimates, Apple Watch models will be costlier than those of its rivals, Moto and Samsung. While Apple has been working on three models, the basic Apple Watch is the most economical one at US$349.
The wearable device will be made with a stainless steel link bracelet to complement a cold-forged stainless steel case. Interested buyers should note that the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face will make sure that the Apple Watch will stay in prime condition for a long time. Consumers can also choose from about a dozen choices in terms of bracelets, loops, bands and buckles.
In regard to the other models that have been in development, the Apple Watch Sport is expected to launch at around US$449, and tech experts around the world believe that it will be the most popular model out of the three on offer. The Sport smartwatch is targeted at younger generations, with Apple's design team using brilliant iPod Touch 5-inspired colors, a lightweight Ion-X glass surface and beautiful bands that support rough usage to attract younger tastes. There are around 10 different versions in the Sport collection that should be available for sale from January 2015 onward.
The final and most important model in the Apple Watch series is the Special Edition collection that is crafted from 18-karat gold. This collectors edition product is two times harder than gold, and comes with a set of brilliant buckles that provide a sophisticated rose-gold touch. Expected to retail at US$549, this prestigiuos smartwatch is targeted at the wealthier fans of the Apple tech phenomenon.
One of the most important things to note is that Apple Watch is not a standalone technology, but they will only work with iPhones running on iOS 8.1. However, this restriction may lead many people to buy an iPhone in the future.
