'Destiny' Update: 1.0.2.3 Fixes And PS4 2.00 System Upgrade Released
The developers of the new game 'Destiny' received some feedbacks from the players about some of the problems that they encounter in the first version of the game. Bungie have already released a warning to players that they "will be returned to the title screen from their activities and then be required to log in to "Destiny" again after instaling the patch." Now, recently an update was released to the fans. The 1.0.2.3 update is now available to fix some of the problems in the game.
To make sure that they will be able to provide a great experience for every gamer and fan out there, they also made some changes in the Raid to make sure that it will "provide an endgame challenge that meets project goals for the intended level of difficulty."
Below is a full list of patch notes for the game:
General
- Fixed an issue in which multiple errors reported with Zebra error codes
- Errors previously reporting as Zebra will now display as their own separate codes
- Fixed a rare issue related to being Kicked To Login repeatedly
- Fixed a rare issue that resulted in a Kick To Orbit reported with the Cockatoo error code
Servers
- Fixed an issue where some players would occasionally be erroneously kicked at the beginning of an activity due to a server error
- Increased protection against account corruption
Raid
- Fixed an issue where Atheon was not choosing random targets for teleport through the timestream during the final encounter on the Vault of Glass
- Fixed an exploit where Atheon could be forced off his platform
According to Bungie's Deej, the developers told him that "The Raid is never supposed to be easy" after he was asked why they didn't just change Hard Mode and leave Easy Mode alone.
"This is an activity that was designed to be undertaken by a hardcore team that is ready and willing to adapt and improvise to changing battle conditions. Like the moment when the Templar shields random players, the Final Boss was supposed to be extremely dangerous," he also added.
Bungie is working on the Exotic Weapon tuning for new update in the game, together with some new features for voice communication between match-made teammates and the ability to hold more Bounties.
On the other hand, Playstation also released its own system update with the name Masamune, according to Express . The update provides players new features like the Share Play and the USB Music Player wherein the users can invite friends to join in the game. But, to be able to use the Share Play, a PlayStation Plus membership is required for this features of 'Destiny.'
