Marvel Announces 'Captain Marvel' Releasing in 2018 Which Will Be First Solo Female Superhero Movie
Marvel announced big news on Wednesday (Oct 28) that they will be releasing their first solo female Superhero movie, Captain Marvel, in 2018.
The studio announced that Captain Marvel will debut on July 6, 2018. No casting has been made official. Who would you like to see cast in the starring role?
The Marvel website does give some glimpse into Ms. Marvel's current powers that include flight, enhanced strength, durability and the ability to shoot concussive energy bursts from her hands. On top of all of that, she is also a skilled pilot and strong at hand to hand combatant.
Marvel also unveiled their released schedule of new movies and new info and titles for Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Doctor Strange, and more.
Marvel Movie Release Schedule:
Captain America: Civil Warwill be released on May 6, 2016
Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch will hit theaters on November 4, 2016
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be released on May 6, 2017
Black Panther will be released on November 3, 2017
Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 will be released on May 4, 2018
Captain Marvel will be released on July 6, 2018,
Inhumans will be released on November 2, 2018
Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2 will be released on May 3, 2019.
The new Avengers 2 movie Avengers: Age Of Ulton has officially given their release date for Summer 2015 and the cast promises that it will be 'epic' and live up to all of the hype following The Avengers box office smash in 2011. The movie stars Robert Downy Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner among others.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
