Christian Lyricist B-RUT Releases New Single "Higher"

Byron Alan Rutley's [aka B-Rut], a dynamic Christian lyricist, is now gearing up for his POWER BEYOND MEASURE album release. The first single from the forthcoming project is "Higher" and available now on digital music outlets.
"I wrote 'Higher' a few years back during a season of my life that was filled with an overwhelming excitement to advance to the next level in my walk with God, my career and ministry," B-Rut shares. "I was also pursuing my Masters degree in Theology and that was playing a big role in my next level movement."
B-Rut impressively performed "Higher" at the recent Detroit Region of the Allstate Gospel Superfest Battle of the Bands winning over the audience and a top three spot. He is kicking off his MOVING HIGHER PROMO TOUR promoting his new single and continuing to reach and encourage others to go higher.
"The road to success does not always look pretty, neither can you see the top of the stairs from the bottom. The way you get to the top is one step at a time," he advises. "Psalm 37:23 says 'The steps of a good man is what it by the Lord', so you can't go to the next level hanging with people from your last level. Trust and Go Higher with God!"
Byron Alan Rutley's [aka B-Rut] passion for music and film came as no surprise to his parents. His rare mixture of musical influence is diverse with influences from such hit makers as The Winans, Commissioned, Marvin Sapp, Crossmovement and Da'Truth. He has more than 15 years of music ministry experience singing with his 4 brothers in the group "Connection-The Rutley Brothers" and singing in their fathers church and other ministries across the state of Michigan.
After graduating from MPI film school in 2009 B-Rut began his journey as a solo recording artist, releasing his first single "Cruise Control" at age 19. Soon after, B-Rut's debut album SUPERNATURAL released in 2012.With years of focusing on music, B-Rut recently garnered a Bachelors in Theology at Destiny Christian University.
