Mouthpi3ce releases "Uno", first single from The Spectacle via HISStory Music Group
Gifted lyricist Mouthpi3ce is ready to make HISstory! His first single for HISstory Music Group, titled "Uno", is available for free download via IAmHISstory.com today. Full length album The Spectacle to follow in late 2016. "Uno" features production by Dope Boi Beatz.
HMG creator Dee Black says Mouthpi3ce came to him about joining his new independent recording imprint. "He'd had problems [releasing music] with other labels. He felt he could trust me, he trusted my integrity."
A native of Atlanta, Mouthpi3ce comes to HMG with an already established and respected reputation. Previous albums including The Foolish Things He Chooses, along with songs "Ready or Not" and "Broken" are favorites on YouTube, Spotify, and iHeartRadio. Born Lamario Houston, Mouthpi3ce is a Christian hip-hop artist and evangelist without compromise. Also a proud husband and father, he proclaims his passion and zeal for the Kingdom of God.
Possessing a God-given gift to write excellent lyrics and songs using incredible rhyme schemes, Mouthpi3ce's talent fits perfectly with the ideal HISstory Music Group is built upon."I felt there's a gap in the genre we do, and it doesn't have a focus on lyrical excellence centered around the gospel," Black says. "Our main goal is to have [our music] centered around the gospel but at the same time create something that has a spirit of excellence with its lyrics, its music, everything."
On welcoming Mouthpi3ce to HMG, Black adds, "I'm a fan of his, and always have been of his music! It was just a no-brainer."
