Hilarious Footlooker/Adidas 'No Rings' Commercial Featuring Barry Sanders, LaDainian Tomlinson, Chris Webber & Karl Malone, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Foot Locker and Adidas have teamed up for a hilarious new commercial with rising NBA basketball star, Damian Lillard. The real stars of the commercial though is everyone but Lillard (watch the commercial above).
'When he looks good he plays good, and the last thing he wants is to be like one of those legends who never won a ring. Watch the scene unfold and make sure you get to Foot Locker this playoff season to step up YOUR game. #Approved' - Foot Locker slogan
If this was hidden camera footage, it would be funny but incredibly awkward since it is true that none of the guys: Barry Sanders, LaDainian Tomlinson, Chris Webber and Karl Malone have rings in the NFL or NBA. However, since they obviously went along with the spoof to record the commercial, that makes it that much more funny and also gives a charm to those players that they can have fun with it.
Every professional athlete works their whole career for the chance to win the Championship and many feel that legacy's are made by how many rings a player has. So this funny commercial hopefully helps ex-pro athletes all over be able to lighten up a little bit and have fun with it like these guys did. I hope you get a good laugh like I did.
Damian Lillard is a second year NBA player for the Portland Trailblazers from Weber State University. He won Rookie of the Year last year for the 2012-2013 season and this year is has raised his stats to 20.8 points and 5.6 assists per game. Lillard and the Trailblazers are currently in the 5th spot in the West heading into the NBA playoffs next week.
