Earnest Pugh Has Another Hit in His Hands

It looks like Earnest Pugh has another runaway hit on his hands. "I Need You to Breathe," the first single off of his upcoming album, is #1 Most Added and Greatest Gainer at radio, with an early position of #19, after only one week on Billboard's Gospel Airplay chart.
"This is nothing short of amazing," says Pugh, who has been traveling the country promoting the song. "The favor of God is upon this effort."
Pugh adds: "This song is taking over my live set on the road every weekend. I believe it is resonating because it is a simple conversation with GOD about my dependence upon Him for the very breath that I breathe. It is not about riffs, runs, or even range...it is a moment of pure transparency."
Written by Ken Hoskins, Lucius B. Hoskins, Shone Williams and Alfred Singleton (The Singletons), and produced by Lucious Hoskins, "I Need You to Breathe" is the lead single off of Pugh's forthcoming CD entitled Fully Persuaded, which will be released on his P-Man Music Group Label. Michael Bereal, who produced Pugh's #1 hits "Rain on Us" and "I Need Your Glory", will helm this project, along with Lucius B. Hoskins and Cedric Thompson. Fully Persuaded will feature guest artists including Kierra Sheard, Dottie Peoples and Christian Hip-Hop artist Sarge.
The CD title Fully Persuaded is taken from Romans 4:21: "And being fully persuaded that what GOD promised He was able also to perform." "I want to remind the people that God is a promise keeper," says Pugh. "If He said it...know that He's going to do it...if He's spoken it, it shall come to pass."
