Lecrae Wins at the 2017 BET Awards

The 2017 BET Awards was held on June 25, 2017, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The ceremony celebrated achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies released between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017. The nominees were announced on May 15, 2017; Beyoncé leads the nominations with 7, followed by Bruno Mars with 5. Beyoncé won the most awards with 5, including Album of the Year and Video of the Year.
Meanwhile, Lecrae took home his second BET Award yesterday in the category for "Best Gospel/Inspirational Award" for his song "Can't Stop Me Now (Destination)." He writes on social media: "Just won a #BETAward and forgot to thank EVERYONE who made that possible. My family, my Reach team, Columbia NAT, J, Childish, mom... "
