'Postman Pat: The Movie' Includes Song from Harry Potter Star Rupert Grint (VIDEO)
The upcoming movie Postman Pat: The Movie will feature Happy Potter star Rupert Grint. He plays Josh, who is a member of a boy band, alongside Harry Potter co-stars Jim Broadbent and David Tennant. Postman Pat: The Movie released to theaters this weekend (May 23). You can watch the trailer above.
Grint also shows off his singing ability in the new film. The actor, who played Ron Weasley in the popular Harry Potter films recorded the song "Lightning", which you can listen to above.
"It is quite an easy, catchy song but I just did it because I thought it would be quite fun but they have obviously done some kind of auto-tuning," the 25-year old told BBCRadio. You can buy the Postman Pat (Original Soundtrack) featuring "Lightning" by Rupert Grint on iTunes HERE.
Synopsis: The film finds Pat, everyone's favourite postman, coming face-to-face with the temptations of money, status and a shiny new suit when he enters a national TV talent show competition that threatens to tear him away from his hometown of Greendale and his family and friends. What happens when kindness meets selfishness? When local fame meets Global notoriety? Will a nice cup of tea be kicked aside by a Frappacapacino Pat is set to find out as he falls for the age-old temptation of the grass being greener.
Postman Pat: The Movie is directed by Mika Disa and produced by Robert Anich Cole. The movie also stars Stephen Mangan, Ronan Keating, Robin Atkin Downes, Susan Duerden, Dan Hildebrand, Peter Woodward, Enn Reital, Sandra Teles and Darren Richardson.
