Doug Hershey & Ezra Adventures Announce 2019 'Israel Rising' Book Tour of the Holy Land
Best selling author Doug Hershey, founder of Ezra Adventures, an Israel-focused travel and education company, is thrilled to announce the first ever, Israel Rising Book Tour of the Holy Land. Booked in association with Inspiration Cruises & Tours, a pioneer in the field of Christian travel, the 10-day 2019 Israel Rising Book Tour departs for Israel on May 5, 2019, and will feature stops at many of the Bible's most famous sites, including Nazareth, the Valley of Armageddon, Mount Carmel, the Sea of Galilee, Jericho, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Mount of Olives, the Upper Room, the mountain fortress of Masada, and Jerusalem, the Eternal City of Peace -- more than 40 significant biblical sites in all, many of which are featured in the book. Travelers will be treated to teaching, insight, and little known fact from Doug Hershey, author of the best selling book, Israel Rising.
Israel Rising, which was launched to celebrate the anniversary of the formal establishment of the modern State of Israel 70 years ago on May 14,1948, captured the Number 1 spot on five separate Amazon sales charts, including the online behemoth's General Israel Travel Guides, Christian Books & Bibles: Prophecies, Israel & Palestine History, History of Judaism, and Torah charts. Based on biblical prophecy found in Ezekiel 36, the gorgeously illustrated four-color Israel Rising gift book includes more than 175 photos from photojournalist Elise Monique Theriault, comparing vintage pictures of the Holy Land to current pictures taken from the same angle, revealing the miraculous transformation of the region from a barren wasteland to a thriving modern nation since the rebirth of Israel.
"Right now, we are living in the times the Bible spoke of 2,600 years ago as the physical land is responding to Jewish sovereignty just as scripture said it would!" says Hershey. "I invite you to come see the dramatic historical changes for yourself, be a part of how "Israel is Rising" and walk through the pages of your Bible. Ezekiel 36 will come to life as we compare the scriptures and the old photos with the landscapes in front of us. We will travel together to many of same locations where these angles were captured by the original photographers 100+ years ago. And we'll interact with local Israeli believers that are restoring the land, worship with them at the Sea of Galilee, and you'll even receive a signed copy of Israel Rising."
