Author & NCAA Record Breaker, Dr. Emmet C. (Tom) Thompson II, Featured on Inspiration.org Today

Author, motivational speaker and NCAA record breaker, Dr. Emmet C. (Tom) Thompson II, is featured today on Inspiration Ministries' influential website, Inspiration.org. In an interview with Inspiration.org's Editor of Digital Content, Dr. Craig von Buseck, Thompson talks about his latest book, Get a Kick Out of Life, and his record breaking accomplishments on the athletic field, as well as offering sound advice regarding reaching your full potential, regardless of your age.
Not only known for breaking records when he became both the oldest player in NCAA football history and the oldest NCAA football player to score a point, Thompson is also a respected researcher in the field of motivation. He literally wrote the book on such topics as setting attainable goals, physical fitness and nutrition, finding your purpose, and developing deeper relationships with family and friends.
"I loved hearing the story of how Tom Thompson was able to make the Austin College Kangaroos football team as a kicker at age 61, becoming the oldest football player in NCAA history," says von Buseck. "His example shows us that it is never too late in life to attempt and achieve great things."
"Dr. von Buseck is a wonderful interviewer," says Thompson. "I am thrilled to be able to share my story with the audience at Inspiration.org, and hopefully I'm able to encourage some folks that it's never too late to start living your best life."
