Dustin James Clark Releases New EP "Loved by You"
Worship leader Dustin James Clark has released his new 5-song EP "Loved By You." Dustin James Clark is a native of San Antonio, TX. He fell in love with worship music at a young age as he watched his father lead worship at church. In those days, his main musical influences were Walter Hawkins, Morris Chapman, The Winans Brothers, Bryan Duncan, Chris Willis, and Michael English.
A burning desire to sing and play piano began to surface during his senior year in High School. He attended the College of Southern Idaho, where he graduated with a 2-year degree in classical music studies. CSI was also Dustin's first real introduction to the world of Jazz. Pianists like Bobby Timmons, Cyrus Chestnut, and Jeff Lorber quickly became his musical heroes. After CSI, he spent 4 more years studying worship music and bible theology at Stockton Christian Life College (CLC).
During the college years, songs of worship began to flow from Dustin's heart. He bonded with several music-major classmates, including roommate Dimas Cortez ("I Will Give (All My Soul)") and began writing songs and exchanging musical ideas. He met the love of his life -and music ministry partner- Ashleigh Williams, who he married a year after graduating CLC.
Now, several years into his musical career, Dustin works as a church music director, teaches music lessons, and records and produces worship and inspirational music.
For Dustin, there's nothing more valuable and amazing than the love of Jesus Christ. From the early boyhood days of falling asleep underneath an old wooden pew during the preaching, to the rebellious teenage years - through it all, God's mercy was relentless, never letting go, and drawing him in to a life full of surrender. It's Dustin's passion and purpose to share this life-changing love with the world through songs of worship.
