I AM THEY Continues To Climb The Charts With Their Latest Single, "Scars"

Pop-acoustic group I AM THEY (Sony Music/Provident Label Group) continues to climb the charts with their latest single, "Scars." The poignant song is currently No. 2 at Billboard's Christian AC Monitored chart and at press time, has obtained more than 18 million streams worldwide, while continuing to gain audiences across the U.S. every week.
"It's natural for us to hide our scars; whether they're physical, emotional or spiritual," the members of I AM THEY collectively share about the song. "If we're being honest, it's because we're afraid of what people would think about us - or worse, that our scars are our identity. As we were writing this song, we had this realization that Jesus did not hide His scars. In fact, they were a constant reminder of all He had sacrificed. His scars don't tell a story of death or failure - they tell a story of life and love. What if we looked at our lives the same way? What if we walked in confidence that everything we've been through has laid a foundation for what God wants to do through us? Because of His scars, we have redemption for our own."
Here's what radio is saying about "Scars" and its impact on their listeners:
"'Scars' is a song for everyone [and] easily one of the most relatable songs we are playing. I love how counter-cultural it is. Thankful for our scars? Our mistakes? Our failures? Really? What an incredible message of hope for an injured world and encouragement to believers to boast our faults. It's a smash!"
-John Lawhon - Program Dir., WRBS Baltimore
"It's challenging to find a more beautiful picture of the hope and redemption that comes from viewing our struggles from the other side. With 'Scars,' I Am They perfectly captures that in a song that acts like a lifeline to anyone wondering what could possibly be the purpose in our pain."
-Melony McKaye - Operations Dir. KJNW Kansas City
"We all have something in our life that God has helped us through. 'Scars' is the song that connects that message to every listener."
-Mike Prendergast - Program Dir. KLTY Dallas
"When I first heard 'Scars' I knew that it was a song that would resonate with people. It's an authentic message that reminds 'you are not alone,' and that God uses trials and mistakes to draw Himself into our life's story."
-Todd Stach - Network Program Dir. WAY-FM Network
This fall, I AM THEY will embark on their first headlining tour, the Trial & Triumph Tour, with supporting artists Dan Bremnes and Elle Limebear. Tour dates are listed below.
