Joshua Aaron Releases a Hebraic Version of Elevation Worship's "The Blessing" with Video Filmed in Jerusalem
Joshua Aaron is an award-winning American-Israeli independent singer and songwriter. He resides near the Sea of Galilee with his wife Jeannie and their 5 children. Aaron has just released his own Hebraic rendition of Elevation Worship featuring Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes' hit single "Ha Bracha (The Blessing)." Aaron recorded the video in Jerusalem and it features his son Max.
Aaron writes: "This ancient prayer from Numbers 6 has been prayed and sung thousands of ways throughout the history of our people (I've even recorded two versions of this in the past!), but what makes it so special is the fact that it's the only prayer that GOD Himself taught us to pray / bless (prayer below). Thanks to Kari Jobe and GOD's hand #forsuchatimeasthis it seems the nations are catching this blessing. Let's pray it servers as a beautiful bridge to the nations... as it says in Numbers 6:27 "so they shall invoke My Name on the songs of Israel, and I then will bless them." We pray that the nations will come to know in a glorious way the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!"
His music, sung in English and Hebrew, blends bluegrass, rock, contemporary Christian worship, reggae, and traditional Jewish genres; combining many eclectic sounds and influences to reach listeners of all nations, faiths, and languages with the good news of Messiah Yeshua.
Additionally, Joshua organizes the annual tour Worship In Israel, a life-changing weeklong experience of music and praise from Jerusalem to the Galilee.
Lastly, Joshua is the founder of The Music House, a gathering place for musicians and believers alike in the small village of Poriya, with the mission of bringing praise from the Galilee to all nations.
