Half Mile Home Releases Concept Video for "Lord I Need You"

Todd Burton, Terence Burton and Darryl Brownlee known collectively as Blacksmoke Music Worldwide/ Church Boy Muzik recording artist Half Mile Home is set for the release of their new single and concept video "Lord, I Need You," heading to digital platforms and streaming outlets.
The song, written by Pastor Jeffrey Dennis, Todd Burton and Khyrie Tyler uses an urban contemporary vibe to fittingly address the world's need for God, especially in the time of political and social unrest coupled with the ravaging effects of COVID-19 on the global landscape. "We are living through some difficult days", says Todd Burton. "If ever there was a time for us to call on the Lord for his help, that time is NOW. Lord, I Need You is a song that makes it plain. There's an ache in my soul only you can console. What I need most is you, because nothing and no one else will do. The end of the song is punctuated by the standard, I Need Thee, Every Hour. We pray that this song touches hearts and minds and reminds us most of our need for God"
The concept video is masterfully shot and directed by Lamont "Liquid" Burrell and serves as the first single from the group's forthcoming new CD, scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2021.
