Microsoft Xbox Live Games Gold July 2014: Are Xbox One Owners Getting A Raw Deal
It's finally here people the new Microsoft Xbox live game gold July 2014. It has taken time for Microsoft to finally catch up with Sony but Microsoft fans can now breathe and smile with the new release of the Xbox live game gold. The Game with gold program expanded to the Xbox One has two free additional downloadable games to all Xbox live Gold subscribers who have moved on to the new generation.
Major Nelson said that if you decide to subscribe to the new Xbox Live Gold you will be able to download super Turbo Championship Edition, Max, and most of all Guacamelee! Now, The Curse of Brotherhood on Xbox One can also be downloaded. However, it is unfortunate that Max has been available all month to all Games with Gold which only means Xbox One owners will only get one additional free game on all the three platforms (PS4, PS4 and PS Vita).
With the month coming to an end we feel that the Xbox One owners are getting a raw deal with Microsoft preparing to release the new batch of games for Xbox One and Xbox 360. This is because they are only getting one free game since Max has been available to them. Xbox 360 owners on the other hand are luckier as they receive both the Gotham City Imposter and Battle Block Theater throughout the month of July.
Since the program is a month old we do hope that Microsoft will have a chance to amend it over the month. As it is we do feel that it was a bit of blooper for Microsoft and maybe they did not have enough time to prepare a full schedule of free games in advance so we hope that maybe with time they will correct the little error. For those who haven't picked the Halo Spartan Assault on your Xbox Ones it's a pity since it has already disappeared at the beginning of this month with Gold.
