Chris Tomlin Reveals Forthcoming Album Title as "Love Ran Red" (Video)

Worship leader and songwriter Chris Tomlin has just revealed that his new worship solo album coming this Fall is entitled "Love Ran Red." The album will once again contain many worship songs ready to service the church. "Waterfall,"the lead single that has preceded the album, is already available for purchase at iTunes. The title cut "Love Ran Red" was originally released as a live track on Passion Conference 's latest release: "Passion: Take It All." It was written by Tomlin, Ed Cash, Matt Armstrong, Matt Redman and Jonas Myrin.
Selling nearly 30 million records, Tomlin is one of today's most popular worship artists. Known for his songs such as "Our God," "How Great is Our God," "Jesus Messiah" and "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)," his songs have been performed more than 3 million times in churches around the world in 2012 alone. Further, Tomlin was awarded Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2006, 2007 (along with Artist of the Year), and 2008 GMA Dove Awards, and a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2012.
"Love Ran Red" is the follow-up to his 2013 album "Burning Lights" which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, only the fourth Christian album ever to open at No. 1. The album includes studio renditions of songs previously recorded live on the "Passion: White Flag" album, including "Lay Me Down", "White Flag", and "Jesus, Son of God". The lead single, "Whom Shall I Fear [God of Angel Armies]", was also a #1 single on Billboard Christian Song chart.
