Charity Gayle Recounts What Christ Does to Us When We Decide to Follow Him with New Song

People & Songs artist and staff writer Charity Gayle releases a brand new single "New Name Written Down in Glory (featuring David Gentiles)" today. Currently based in Buffalo, NY working as a worship pastor and music ministry director, Gayle has led worship for countless churches and congregations throughout her ministry and is a regular clinician at varying worship seminars, conference and schools.
Written by Charity Gayle, David Gentiles, Denita Gibbs and The Emerging Sound, "New Name Written Down in Glory" is a powerful reminder of what Christ does for us once when we make the decision to follow him:
I was lost in shame
Could not get past my blame
Until He called my name
I'm so glad He changed me
Darkness held me down
But Jesus pulled me out
I'm no longer bound
I'm so glad He changed me
See I'm, now a new creation in Christ
The old has gone, there's new life
I live by faith, not by sight
There is a new name written down in glory
And it's mine, yes, it's mine
I've met the author of my story
And He's mine, yes, He's mine
Gayle's latest album Lord, You are My Song debuted at #3 in the 'Christian Gospel genre' on iTunes, and she is expected to release a follow up DELUXE album during the Turn Up the Lights Festival in La Porte, Indiana on November 11th where she will be a featured artist with other artists from the People & Songs Label.
Most recently, Charity was a featured artist at the North American Youth Congress 2017 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana for 34,000 worshippers where she sang 'AMEN' from her upcoming deluxe album. She was also interviewed by Paul Herman with @CCLI. She was also named GMA Immerse vocalist and continues to serve the GMA at Immerse as a judge and clinician. Charity regularly writes with top CCM vocalists and writers and is blessed to serve the People & Songs ministry intern program and their headquarters.
