DUPREE Helps Us Deal with Change with New Song
Mother and son Christian rock duo DUPREE are back with their brand new single, "Can You Feel It (Change Gonna Come)." DUPREE is made up of mother Lauren and son Dylan, originally from East Tennessee. Their fresh and exciting new sound has been turning heads and their new single is no exception.
"Can You Feel It (Change Gonna Come)" is about coming into a new season and trusting God that more blessings are in store. Change is necessary in order to fix our eyes on our eternal home and accept our current situation while always having hope of a brighter tomorrow and a renewed spirit.
Based out of Orlando, FL the band grew out of the music ministry of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The band's Christ-centered concerts bring Catholics and Evangelicals together through their music with the core message "You Matter, You Belong." They are quickly gaining a massive group of passionate fans who love their dynamic as a Mother/son duo in Christian music.
Dupree's upbeat music includes smooth harmonies and feature Dylan's {left-handed} jaw-dropping guitar solos. Dylan's versatile solos have been compared to the styles of Jimi Hendrix, Brad Paisley and Eddie Van Halen.
Discovered at age 17 by multi platinum-selling band LFO (Summer Girls, Every Other Time) the band invited Dylan on the LFO Summer Reunion Tour as lead guitarist. After the tour, Dylan attended Rollins College to study guitar under Berklee graduate guitarist Bobby Koelble.
DUPREE's highly anticipated Sophomore album "Never Forget" has the band quickly gaining traction on Christian Contemporary radio stations across the world.
