Village Lights Drop Brand New Video "King of Salvation"

Multi-cultural worship collective, Village Lights have released the video of their brand new single "King of Salvation" via Integrity Music. The trio includes Sarah Kroger, Ricky Vazquez, and Ike Ndolo.
King of Salvation
Forever seated on the throne
Though our kingdoms fall
Full of compassion
Love ever ancient, ever close
We are not alone
"King of Salvation" is taken from Village Lights' self-titled EP, which introduced their heartbeat; one of unity, inclusivity, and reconciliation wrapped in worshipful devotion. Village lights see themselves as more than a band, but rather a movement for those who seek justice in our world and Church. The project was produced by Grammy-nominated Matt Maher, who has also acted as the group's mentor.
"Music is always best when made in a community," shares renowned worship leader and songwriter Matt Maher. "This requires such a level of trust. Every great artist knows this fundamental truth. Art is something best shared. I love this group and their willingness to include so many in their journey of creativity and am honored to help them as a producer bring this treatment of the end of the liturgical year into a collective work of song for the Church and for the pilgrimage of the believer."
The group was inspired by the traditional liturgical feast 'Christ the King of the Universe,' which was historically implemented in the church at a time of rising tide of nationalism around the world. The feast was a way to reunite God's people around the idea that our allegiances lie with Christ our King. Each song is based on the Scriptures surrounding that feast day, making it an immersive sonic, artistic, and theological experience.
"We feel like this is a very timely record," shares Village Lights. "There seems to be an urgent need now more than ever for all God's people to unite under Christ and His kingship. After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands. (Revelation 7:9) We hope this record can be a soundtrack that moves people toward unity."
