Meredith Mauldin x UPPERROOM Share the Heart Behind New Song "You Remain"

Meredith Mauldin & UPPERROOM have partnered to launch their newest song together titled "You Remain" (DREAM Worship). Featuring Elyssa Smith, this powerful worship song precludes the release of the 8-song album, The Turning by Meredith Mauldin & UPPERROOM which will release on July 29th. Both the album and the song were produced by Oscar Gamboa.
Mauldin has this to say about her new song, "Elyssa Smith and I wrote "You Remain" in a challenging season for her personally and then that same song carried me through one of my hardest seasons. It was a time where I felt the Lord was asking me to lay down something that I had helped build and walk into new uncharted territory.
"The bridge became my anthem `When I see your face, I'll wish I'd given more away. Don't let me waste a trial, don't let me miss the chance to praise.' So getting to lead this song with Elyssa in this season has been a full circle moment for both of us and is just so sweet!"
Meredith Mauldin is a passionate worshipper and songwriter that can't help but rally others to do the same. She spent 7 years pioneering the worship and songwriting culture at the UPPEROOM in Dallas and was the founder of their label and publishing company. Meredith has now created a ministry called SongLab, to empower worshipers to minister to the Lord as well as write songs from their hearts and for their local churches.
She has held over 30 SongLabs all over the country since 2019 and releases collective worship music from those events. Her passion is to write songs that will turn the eyes of the bride to Jesus! When she isn't worship leading, she has enjoyed being a voice actor for cartoons for over 22 years and loves hanging out with her husband, Michael and three kids! They currently live in Atlanta, GA.
