Kanye West Releases a Cursed-Filled Single Following Win as Billboard’s Top Gospel Artist

Controversial rap artist Kanye West records a curse-filled single days after being named Billboard's Top Gospel Artist. West won the award despite facing competition from Elevation Worship, Cece Winans and Maverick City Music. West's new single "Vultures" is a far cry from the Dove-nominated, Grammy-winning Jesus Is King album he was praised for in Christian circles just a few years ago.
Here's a sample of the song's lyrics:
Three gang leaders with me, all times.
I don't know who I f****d last night, I got Alzheimer's.
I don't know who them hoes is, man, they all lyin'.
Brody, tell me who them hoes is, man, they all fine.
Runnin' hooligan, and we with the foolishness.
How I'm anti-semitic? I just f****d a Jewish b***h.
I just f****d Scooter's b***h and we ran up like Olympics.
Got pregnant in the threesome, so whose baby is it? Whose baby is it?
My n***as puttin' belt to a**, pull up with the switches.
This ain't Jimmy Butler but the heat got extensions.
This ain't Columbine, but we came in with the trenches."
Kanye was raised a Christian by his mother Donda West, who sadly passed away in 2007. Earlier the same year she released a book "Raising Kanye" where she devoted a whole chapter to his 2004 song "Jesus Walks" and told of how he inherited his faith from her. Lyrics in the song included: "They say you can rap about anything except for Jesus / That means guns, sex, lies, videotape / But if I talk about God my record won't get played." The unlikely single was awarded a Grammy for Best Rap Song.
In April 2019, West experienced a conversion that fully immersed him into a life of Christian faith. In response to this radical experience he produced his first all gospel album and performed a "Sunday service" complete with full gospel choir at Coachella festival.
