Tedashii Surprises Fans with Two Christmas Singles
On the heels of DEAD OR ALIVE pt 1 release back in September, and a few days before Christmas, Tedashii shines with his vocals on two (2) brand new Christmas songs; "Christmas Call (featuring VRose)" and "Back Home For Christmas."
"Christmas Call" ft V.Rose is a song that Tedashii wrote for the people who have loved ones that won't make it home for the holidays. "I wanted to make a song that spoke to that situation and the feelings that come with it. It's the lack of connection some feel around the holidays that brings music like this to life. I can remember being away from my lady on Christmas. It was no fun at all. Only the promises of what next year would bring for us, is what got me through those tough days," says Tedashii. "I reached out to VRose who was delighted to collaborate and I'm glad she did, because her dreamy vocals added a glistening touch on this track. It is a real and honest record that gives hope for the holidays. Here's to everyone having to make a Christmas Call this year."
"Back Home For Christmas" is an intimate track written with his favorite childhood memories of opening presents, all the good food, and having many relatives home for the holidays. Tedashii adds, "This song empathizes with those who long to be home for the holidays. I wanted to see the angst of that represented in today's Christmas music and this song definitely does that. I remember seeing the front door open and so many people crowding in all at once. The crescendo of laughter as new guests arrived brought an enthusiasm and a joy I felt seeing so many people gathered in one place, all connected around the spirit of what this holiday is all about, family."
These two (2) tracks show the expansion of Tedashii's musical capabilities stretching from the norm of his raps and hard hitting flows. Tedashii for the first time reveals his ability to sing and delighted many with comments on his Instagram post here saying, "You. Better. Sing. Tedashii!" from Crystal Nicole, Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter, and many more!
He is very much the same rapper people know him to be, but intrigued fans can truly appreciate this diverse array that he brings to his ever-expanding catalog of hits. Zach Paradis, based in Los Angeles, produced, mastered and engineered both tracks. We hope you enjoy these special surprise gems, as they deliver a sense of hope, love and a merry cheer for the holidays.
