Divergent's Shailene Woodley and Theo James: Rumors of Off-screen Romance Disproved while Sequel to First Movie is in the Works
There have been a lot of rumors concerning the pair on the internet and alleged begging by their producers but the truth is that Theo James and his Divergent co-star, Shailene Woodley are not dating in any capacity. They would have to break up from the relationships they are currently in, for that to happen in the first place. Theo James who was earlier known for his role in Underworld has been with his British girlfriend Ruth Kearny ever since they met in school. Shailene, on the other hand, is with is with Canadian Ellen Page however, there is also a bit of intrigue with her connection with American actor, Ansel Elgort best known for 'fault of our stars' and also playing Tris's brother in Divergent.
So you see the both of them would have to break up with their girlfriend's. Recent news on the pair suggests that she will be keeping the new pixie haircut that she got for him in the sequel of 'Insurgent'. So that is that, Four and Tris were never seeing each other off screen in the first place, so they have not split up, regardless of what the fans would like to see. The two will come together for the second installment of the Divergent movie which has been aforementioned as Insurgent.
Apparently, Tris and Four will have to fight more than they have ever done before against the powers that be. The second installment as hinted by them at the San Diego Comic Con will feature everything falling apart. This is because the perfect systems of the factions will different on ideology from Aerodyte to Candour. Apparently, the on screen relationship between Tris and Four will also not be spared as they will fight between themselves a lot because of trust issues and not being able to share with each other about themselves. Veronica Roth, author of the Divergent series, a fan of the onscreen romance of the protagonists eagerly anticipates the sequel as well as the fans.
