Noku Dlamini Releases "Nhaulele," A Cry for God's Mercy

USA-based South African gospel artist Noku Dlamini is back with a powerful new single, "Nhaulele"-a deeply personal song that translates to "Have mercy on me, God" in Zulu. This Amapiano fused song captures Noku's heartfelt cry for mercy during one of the most challenging seasons of her life.
Speaking about the inspiration behind Nhaulele, Noku shared: "Nhaulele was birthed in 2023 while I was going through what felt like the 'wilderness.' In 2022, it was as if sin and disobedience had removed me from God's presence. When I finally woke up from my self-absorption, I realized that God was with me the whole time, but I was busy listening to the wrong voice. Then I cried out-'Son of David, have mercy on me!'"
Through powerful vocals and heartfelt lyrics, Nhaulele reminds listeners that God's mercy never leaves us, even when we feel distant.
About Noku Dlamini
Born in Welkom, South Africa, Noku Dlamini discovered her passion for music as a child, performing for her family at her father's request-moments that sparked her love for singing. In 2002, she moved to the United States to work as an au pair in Overland Park, Kansas. Two years later, she relocated to Houston, Texas, where she pursued her bachelor's degree in Technical Management while launching her music career. Noku's music reflects her journey-a blend of her Mzansi roots and her American experiences, creating a unique sound that resonates with a global audience. Alongside her music career, Noku works as a commercial property underwriter, a profession that has provided the resources needed to continue releasing music independently. However, she feels a strong calling to transition into full-time ministry through music, a step she believes is fast approaching.
Nhaulele, is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and more.
