JP Godfrey Shares the Power of the Gospel with "The Evidence"

JP Godfrey releases his much anticipated new album The Evidence on February 28, 2025. Each song on the album is crafted around a specific Bible verse, reflecting Godfrey's commitment to sharing the gospel through music.

Godfrey writes, "I'm beyond grateful for all the love and support you've shown for my music, and I'm so happy to finally share my new album, The Evidence, with you!

The album blends catchy, upbeat country rhythms with softer, prayerful moments, offering a diverse listening experience. Prior to its official release, the title track, "The Evidence," was unveiled with an official music video in October 2024.The song encourages listeners to recognize the manifestations of God's love in everyday life.

Music has been an integral part of Godfrey's life since his youth. He formed a band in high school and continued performing during his college years in Monroe, Louisiana, serving as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist at local venues. After graduating in 1988, he joined his father's business and, with the arrival of his children, placed his musical aspirations on hold to focus on family and career.

In 2021, a serious health scare became a pivotal moment for JP. Hospitalized in the ICU for eight days due to COVID-19 complications, he reflected deeply on his life's direction. This experience reignited his commitment to his musical talents and his desire to share God's message through song.
