Stars Go Dim Illuminates The Way Home With "A Little Light," Out Today

Continuing the countdown to Roses, Curb Records artist Stars Go Dim illuminates the way home with "A Little Light," out today (4/18) - listen HERE. Additionally, an accompanying music video for the bright song premieres on YouTube today at 10 a.m. CT HERE. Stars Go Dim's fourth studio effort, Roses, is set to bloom July 11, 2025, and is currently available for fans to pre-save, pre-add and pre-order HERE.
Acknowledging all of life's unknowns, "A Little Light" finds frontman Chris Cleveland making peace with uncertainty, even in the darkness. Laden with strings, the piano-led selection provides gentle comfort as it offers the perspective that every journey toward hope often begins one small step of faith at a time. The fragile original was written by Cleveland, Carter Frodge, and Krissy Nordhoff; and produced by Cleveland and Frodge.
"'A Little Light' is the epitome of a ballad on the record. It's just piano, vocal, and some strings. Actually, almost everything you hear, we did the day we wrote it," Cleveland shares, giving listeners a glimpse into the creative process. "Most of the time, in life, we can't see the whole path, but God promises He'll be with us. The visual we had was that He gives just enough light so we can take the next step. Maybe you don't have the whole journey figured out, but know that the whole journey is just one step after another. And so, as you're listening to this, I hope it can be an encouragement to you. You don't need to see it all, you just need a little bit of light to take the next step."
"A Little Light" is the latest installment in a string of advance tracks previewing Stars Go Dim's forthcoming LP. It follows autobiographical offering "Discover God," poetically resonant title cut "Roses" and celebrated lead single "Mama Don't Lie (Alright)," whose throwback music video recently surpassed 1M views, making it one of Stars Go Dim's most popular visuals to date - watch HERE.
Co-producing for the first time, Cleveland embraces the genuine joy that comes from a slower pace and a different point of view on Roses. Exploring his dynamic range across the project's 11 original tracks, the top-shelf singer chases a retro sound marinated in the groove-heavy beats of the '70s. From the jangly piano intro of infectious opener "Mama Don't Lie (Alright)" to the nostalgic emotional pull of closer "Good Days," the fresh LPblossoms with the hope that God is always waiting to be found.
Cleveland will commemorate the new album with his Grand Ole Opry debut on July 13, 2025.
