Josiah Queen Releases New Single “Cloud and Fire”

Rising contemporary Christian artist Josiah Queen has released his powerful new single, "Cloud and Fire," a reflective and evocative track inspired by the biblical imagery of God's guidance through the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. This latest release builds momentum ahead of his sophomore album Mt. Zion, set to launch August 22, 2025.
Co-written and produced by Josiah alongside John Michael Howell, Zac Lawson, and Dylan Thomas of Hillsong UNITED, "Cloud and Fire" offers a poignant meditation on faith and divine presence amid life's challenges. The song's contemplative sound and heartfelt lyrics continue to showcase Josiah's growth as a compelling voice in modern worship music.
Josiah Queen has quickly established himself as one of the most promising artists in Christian music. His debut album The Prodigal (2024) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart and amassed over 140 million cumulative streams as an independent release. The lead single from that album, also titled "The Prodigal," earned Gold certification and multiple Dove Award nominations.
Following the success of his current single "Dusty Bibles," which is climbing the charts and reaching millions of streams globally, "Cloud and Fire" is already capturing listeners' attention and generating excitement for the full Mt. Zion album.
