House of Cards Season 3: Tentatively Set for Feb. 2015, Pussy Riot Band Members To Appear
Taking from the cliffhanger that season 2 left viewers with, how will things come into light this time on season 3? The mysteries and answers will take the limelight in the upcoming season 3, set tentatively for February next year and is currently filming in Maryland after some controversy regarding film production tax incentives.
In the previous two seasons, viewers and fans have seen Frank Underwood played by Kevin Spacey managed to take over everyone else and is now on the top as the president. With so many enemies Frank has made along the way, it seems some of them might be the ultimate plot against him to take him down finally.
One the biggest things fans are watching out for is Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright and whether she will play a pivotal role against her husband Frank's death by hiring an assassin; in the same manner from the original BBC mini-series of the same name. And while fans of the series may think there is no love between her and Frank, it has been confirmed that Frank actually do love Claire, aside from his unending claim to power; according to show creator Beau Willimon.
There are also speculations about a comeback for Paul Russo's character Doug Stamper. And while Doug has been assumed to be dead following the season 2 finale, Russo has signed a contract with NetFlix but there's no clear indication as to what this means.
Meanwhile, Pussy Riot band members Maria Alyokhina and Nadya Tolokonnikova are set to appear on the series; although Netflix has yet to state a comment about this.
Fans would also be delighted to know that unlike the BBC series, House of Cards is intended to be longer than just three seasons; with co-executive producer Rick Cleveland and Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos both confirming it.
