Homeland Season 4 Spoilers and Release Date: Exclusive New Teaser
With the Homeland Season 4 set for release on October 5 on Showtime at 9/8c, there is a lot to expect from this political drama thriller with three successful seasons. The last season has proved to be the most intriguing of all with assassination attempts, execution, and fight for respect. The last episode for Season 3 ended on a rather emotional note with Carrie trying to draw a star for Brody.
So what happens next? Where will the story go from here? While we already know that a larger part of the story will focus on international missions in Afghanistan and Pakistan along with Middle East, little is known about the nature of these missions.
Homeland Season 4 Teaser
Showtime has released a new teaser recently, which features the voice of Saul Berenson talking of war against terror. The pain in his lines 'It hasn't been a 14-year war we've been waging, but a one-year war, waged 14 times' is so evident that you can't help but relate to what he's been going through.
Some upcoming scenes are fused with traces of reality while Carrie tries to explain to her sister Maggie that she doesn't have a choice. With this trailer, it's clear that Season 4 is getting a lot more real and right in the face.
Homeland Season 4 Spoilers
After a lot has been said about the upcoming season and a new trailer to hang on to, there are speculations of more deaths and pain coming everyone's way. While Carrie will be traveling to Middle East for some messy missions, she will be leaving her baby with the family back at home. There is also some news of her opening emotional side with Quinn in the later episodes for Season 4.
Carrie's mental problems will be diluted for certain but same cannot be said about her dilemma. Being a field agent will come up as a totally new challenge where killing is different.
Being away from the family, dealing with racial tension and poignant missions will ask a lot, physically and emotionally, from this CIA agent.
Jessica Brody Coming Back?
There was a lot of speculation that Brody will be coming back to the show after the execution episode. Unfortunately, that's not the case. The producers have already told that Morena Baccarin with not be a part of Homeland Season 4 cast. In fact, Morgan Saylor will also not be on the show now.
