Moto X+1 Specs, Release date and Rumors: A 3D screen, "touchless control", and more customization options are rumored features of Motorola's newest smartphone
Moto X+1news: Chicago-based Motorola has already sent out invites for the launch event of its newest smartphone, Moto X+1, and release date has been scheduled for September 4.
September is a milestone month for Motorola as the company's Moto 360 smartwatch, Moto G2 smartphone, and headset will also be introduced during the same event.
Brands such as Samsung are set to release competing products as well.
Moto X+1 rumors indicate a possible 3D screen and "touchless control" capabilities. Tech blogs, however, speculate that this could just be an upgrade of Moto X's voice command features.
Moto X+1 specs leaked online revealed that Moto X+1 will have a wide range of color options to match the user's style and personality. They could go for navy, olive, crimson, lemon lime, or ebony.
Other notable Moto X+1 specs include a 5.2-inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) display, a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB storage, a microSD card slot, Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS, 12 MP rear and 2.1 MP front cameras, dual front-facing speakers, and a 2,900 mAh battery.
Moto X+1 price is within the $400 range.
