G-Unit New Album Release Date and News: New Album to be Titled The Beast is G-Unit
Back in April, it was announced by 50 Cent that G-Unit has disbanded due to fighting within the group. But to a lot of people's surprise, they were then reunited again in the 21st annual Summer Jam Hip-Hop Festival along with new member Kidd Kidd.
After all the drama, they've released multiple remixes such as "Nah I'm Talkn' Bout," "Real Quick," and a remix of Trey Songz' "Ordinary." The releases confirmed that the group has reunited are back making music together. On June 25, 50 Cent announced that they would be releasing a mixtape. They eventually released it on midnight on August 25 as a surprise to fans as a digital download titled "The Beauty of Independence." "Right now we got like over 50 records recorded and the process for picking this EP was six records," Lloyd Banks told MTV News of The Beauty of Independence during an interview last month.
The new EP (Extended Play) is just actually the first half of what they are planning on releasing. They are currently working on releasing a full length album titled The Beast is G-Unit. During a recent interview with the LA Leakers on their Shade 45 satellite radio show, 50 Cent revealed the new project saying, "It's broken up into two pieces so The Beauty of Independence is the first half and then The Beast is G-Unit [is] the second half."
It has not yet been confirmed when The Beast is G-Unit will be released, it can either be announced soon that it will have a scheduled release date, or they could just surprise fans and make it available all of a sudden much like with their EP The Beauty of Independence.
