Attack on Titan Season 2 Release Date: Season 2 not yet in production until Wit Studios Completes Volume 15 and 16 of the Manga Series
Fans are clamoring for the Attack on Titan Season 2 release date. Well, well, well, it seems that Wit Studios needs to complete Volumes 15 and 16 of the Manga Series first. Aww, that's a long wait, although speculations circling the internet mention that July 2015 is the premiere date. But fans might be disappointed again if they expect too much. Let's just say, Wit Studios will not disregard fans' wishes. They will soon announce the Attack on Titan Season 2 Release Date.
While waiting for Season 2, it has been announced by Shingeki.tv that producers are compiling the entire episodes of Attack on Titan for a full-length film. Now, that sounds exciting!
Pony Canyon, the Japanese anime studio will adopt the transition from the small to the big screen. Pony Canyon released a trailer for the first film compilation via Anime News Network and it comes with the title 'Attack on Titan Part 1: Crimson Bow and Arrow', which will cover episodes 1 through 13. This anime film will be available in Japan on Nov. 22. The second film has been titled 'Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom' and will cover episodes 14 and 25. It will hit the theaters sometime next year.
Tickets will be available in advance on September 13 and fans will get an 'Attack on Titan' collectibles, such as rubber straps with illustrations of Eren, both in his normal, as well as Titan form.
Aside from these, Wit Studios will also release a prequel spin off titled 'Attack on Titan: No Regrets, Birth of Levi' which will air on December 2014, with a view to fill the time in-between Season 1 and 2.
So there you go, fans will have their plates full up until Attack on Titan Season 2 episode 1 goes live.
