"The View" Season 18 Premiere: Rated Best In 8 Years, Newcomers Rosie Perez & Nicolle Wallace Got Introduced
"The View" premier took place on Monday Sept. 15 recording biggest viewership in last 8 years. USA Today reported best premiere ratings in last 8 years with a record high 3.9 million people watching the show.
"The View" premiere took off a great start with introduction of new joiners Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace. O'Donelle made a comeback too after a break of couple of years with co-host Whoopi Goldberg. Goldberg also acts as a moderator.
O'Donnell was a big surprise to see in a new look after losing 50 pounds or so with a surgery. The show paid tribute to Roan Rivers by Kristin Chenoweth. The topics for discussion included some famous personalities such as Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson.
Ellen DeGeneres too recorded best debut week in the 12 years. The ladies also hosted a game named Ro or Ro challenging a member of audience about the knowledge of two guests. The show featured a stunningly new set. The fans were eagerly waiting for the new show and they got it as per their expectations.
