'Covert Affairs' Season 5 Spoilers: Witnessed The Chicago Bombing Which Leads To A Thicker Plot In The Story
A must- see come back of the mid-season finale awaits avid fans of the action- drama series 'Covert Affairs' 5th season premieres November 6th of this year. Studio executive Ellen Rand tweeted about the show recently, definitely making fans more excited.
"Just saw 2 new eps of #CovertAffairs & can say without a doubt, u r in for a ride when the show comes back Nov. 6th! @CovertAffairs," the executive tweeted last September 24.
After the last summer episode, we all witnessed the Chicago bombing which leads to a thicker plot in the story. When the 6 episodes return in fall we will realize that the incident is just the tip of the iceberg. Bigger story arc will emerge expanding the previous storyline together with old and new characters.
Executive producers' Matt Corman and Chris Ord also sat down with TVLine and spilled some information about what's more to come for Annie. Can there be a stonger relationship building between her and Belenko? Annie is more committed in tracking him down after he is seen talking to someone on the phone saying that they have missed the real target and his eagerness to go to Istanbul after he finished what he started, so the chasing continues. The real target will come as a genuine and huge surprise for the viewers and will be the amazing plot twist on the show.
The show that started July 13, 2010, it is on its way to its mid season finale of the 5th installation. Whether there would be a new season remains to be seen. The positive reception of the viewers and critics made this series garner of nominations for its cast. First, Piper Perabo, who played Annie Catherine Walker, was nominated for a Best performance by an Actress in a Television Series in Golden Globe Awards and Christopher Gorham, who played August "Auggie" Anderson, won the CNIB Seeing Beyond Vision Loss Special Achievement Award last 2013.
The return of "Covert Affairs" will air on November 6, Thursday at 10pm E.T on USA.
