A special two-hour finale will air on Sunday. There are rumors that episode 12 which is entitled 'Box to the Future' and episode 13 entitled 'The Gathering' will leave the fans breathless. According to the synopsis of season 2 finale of 'Witches of East End', our favorite witches and warlocks would meet their demise in the final episode of season 2. The two-hour season finale will take place both in present day or 1840s where Wendy (Madchen Amick), Joanna (Julia Ormond) and Freya (Jenna Dewan Tatum) are currently located. The girls are looking for a weapon which will help them to kill the king. As Joanna believes that he has evil motives for bringing her daughters back. It has been earlier teased that season 2 that it would have a shocking and tragic ending.
In the 12th episode, Joanna is on a mission to retrieve the Anima Aucupe, the weapon which is rumored to be the strongest enough to send her father to hell. Meanwhile in the present, Frederick will become kind-of suspicious to Ingrid's allegiance to the king. The synopsis for episode 13 reveals that Joanna will not be of any kind of help to her sister and daughter when Tarkoff casts a spell on the love of his life. Ingrid's treacherous plan against her grandfather will also come to light and it will lead her to being captured by Nikolaus. The summary shows that she will be horrified when she learns the king's intentions. It has also been rumored that Wendy may be meeting her death in the 13th season, as she has only one life left. Freya and Ingrid are also not safe as they are also around the age where the spell kicks in or it could be that Joanna will be killed when trying to protecting her children.
