It's official.
Pop star Nicki Minaj will both be hosting and performing at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Award that will be held at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, United Kingdom on November 9, 2014. Another milestone for the "Anaconda" singer after she scored no.1 in the UK Top Charts for her role in Jessie J's "Bang Bang" and performed with Ariana Grande at this year's Video Music Awards, and who could not remember the unforgettable wardrobe malfunction of her black dress?
In her Twitter account, Nicki Minaj told her followers "So excited to announce that I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year's MTV European Music Awards!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

There will be a night of kick off party that will be in MIAMI with a special pre- show telecast before the main show in Glasgow where Onika is. The Europe Music awards will be aired live on all MTV Channels globally.
On the other news, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Pharell Williams got the most number of nominations. Katy Perry got 7 nominations namely: Best Song and Best Video for 'Dark Horse', Best Pop, Best Female, Best Live, Best Look and Best US Act. Ariana Grande got 6 huge nominations following Pharrell Williams with 5.
One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Eminem, Sam Smith and Kiesza got 4 nods each. Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj are rivals for the Best Fans Category. Voting for your chosen artist is open until November 8 via the official MTV EMA site.
Exactly 20 years ago, MTV Launched The first European Music Awards to celebrate Europe's popular artists and music. In the history of EMA it is Eminem that is so far got the most number of nominations and the most celebrated artist that grabbed 13 awards, including 8 Best Hiphop, 2 Best Male and Best Album awards and the prestigious global icon award.
