Out with the vampires. Out with the robots. In with the breathtaking martial-arts flick!

The first original movie from Netflix and IMAX is worth waiting for! Netflix starts a new venture with a big bang. Their first movie is a sequel of the blockbuster martial-arts movie 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'. Du Lu Wang wrote the book version. The film combined two talented artists, Director Ang Lee and actor Chow Yun-fat. Unfortunately, the two big talents are not part of the sequel. The sequel 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend' features in Netflix and some selected IMAX theaters come August 28,2015.

The cast and crew have started shooting in New Zealand. Actress Michelle Yeoh stars the sequel. She returns as none other than Yu Shu-Lien ; and Donnie Yen plays as the character of Silent Wolf. The film showcases also the talents of Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Harry Shum Jr., Roger Yuan, Jason Scott Lee and Eugenia Yuan. The Weinstein Company produces the sequel under the directorship of Yuen Wo-Ping. John Fusco wrote the story. Without question the 'Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon :The Green Legend' will unveil mind-boggling martial -arts stunts ,great narrative and supercool cinematography.

Meanwhile, TWC co-chairman, who is none other than Harvey Weinstein is all excited with their new partnership with Netflix. Weinstein also added that the 'Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon' fans are in for a big surprise with last part of the great and captivating narrative .

The question obviously is - can the sequel transcend the original 'Crouching Tiger And Hidden Dragon' take home the bacon? The original movie directed by Ang Lee took home around 200 million and won 40 awards! Including 2 Globe Awards and the Best Foreign Language Film Award.Will the sequel surpass that? Let us just wait and see.

But thanks Netflix and Imax - martial-arts fanatics will have something to look forward to. In the mean time, polish your martial-arts moves; bring out your black-belts and get ready to say 'Yahhhhh!!!'.
