‘Dancing With The Stars' Season 19: Jonathan Bennett And Allison Hooker Wowed The Judge In Their ‘Great Gatsby’ Tango-Themed Performance
"Dancing With The Stars" Season 19: Jonathan Bennett And Allison Hooker Wowed The Judge In Their 'Great Gatsby' Tango-Themed Performance
The 19th season of "Dancing with the Stars" hosted by Tom Bergeron with Erin Andrews aired last Sept. 15 this year. Two time champion Julianne Hough will be joining as the 4th judge together with returning judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
As we recap what went last 5th episode aired last Sept. 29, 2014, 11 pairs showed their dancing talent tagging this episode as inspired by the Movie Night. Each couple showcased their new style in dance moves from one of the star's favorite films. Actor/comedian Kevin Hart was the guest judge in place of the vacationing Len Goodman and he even performed with "The Wedding Singer" star Josh Gad.
Pairs Janel and Val scored a perfect 10 on their flawless dance routine and the first perfect score for the season, but it was being tied with another dance machines Bethany and Derek which offered a Jazz routine to "Singing in the Rain." On the other hand, Antonio Sabato Jr. was left hanging in distress after being criticized with his dance moves compared to his performance last 4th episode.
Garnering a score of 32, Jonathan Bennett and Allison hooker wowed the judge in their "Great Gatsby" tango- themed performance. Alfonso Riviero's quickstep to "Austin Powers" was full of energy as well, together with a cutesy special guest. Dancing their way to the tune of Disney's 'Up?' Pairs Sadie and Mark did their Viennese Waltz enjoyably. Tommy Chong also did well on his Argentinian tango routine, same as Michael Waltrip danced very good, one his best performance so far on his third season with the competition.
Sad news is that Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff reached the bottom place after doing the Paso Doble dance style that did not impress the judges, though "Eye of the Tiger" was a good choice for the adequate routine. And at the end of the episode the two were eliminated from the competition.
Since the show will come back on its original once a week airtime, there would be a lot of exciting dance showdown and a night of dance fight that awaits its fans. Catch "Dancing with the Stars" every Monday, 8pm EST on ABC.
