HTC Nexus 9 Set To Be The First Device With Android Lollipop - Official Release Date and Specs Still Unannounced
Tech-world has been buzzing with conflicting rumors about Google and HTC's upcoming flagship tablet. As the consumers wait with great anticipation, the two tech-giants are clearly having a hard time on keeping their secrets hidden.
While the rumored HTC Nexus 9's release date and specifications are not available for the public yet, one thing is for sure, the new tablet will be the first device with Google's newest Android Lollipop, Christian Post reported.
HTC Nexus 9, a product of a big-time technology partnership between Google and HTC, has reportedly got its FCC certification recently. Reports cited that FCC documents showed the most anticipated tablet's specifications and design.
The tablet, with Volantis and Flounder codenames, is said to be a device with 8.9-inch screen and a case with aluminum, as its main material. HTC's signature front-facing dual-speaker is also rumored as HTC Nexus 9's notable feature.
With the newest Android Lollipop, or simply Android 'L', as its operating system, HTC 9 is set to be available for 32GB and 64GB versions.
Techtimes noted that it was one year ago since the search engine giant has released its tablet device, which is the Nexus 7 who has garnered a lot of positive rave reviews.
"The Nexus 7 has remained Google's most popular series of tablets in the Nexus program. The company hasn't released an update to the slate since July 2013...," Techtimes reports.
Google first venture in tablet market can be traced back in the year 2012. Equipped with excellent hardware and software, regular updates, and a budget-friendly price, the company's Nexus series has been a huge success.
Because of this "many Android fans have been patiently waiting for a new Nexus tablet to replace 2013's model," as cited by the same report from Techtimes. If rumors will be a reality soon, Google and HTC followers need not to wait for a long time as HTC Nexus 9 with Android Lollipop is set to be released this month.
In fact, IBTimes reported that a developer has hinted the release of both HTC Nexus 9 and Google's newest Android Lollipop on Oct. 24.
O'Brien had tweeted initially that the newest flagship tablet and the latest operating system was set to be unveiled on an earlier date which is on Oct. 16.
Release date of HTC Nexus 9 and Android Lollipop is just around the corner so stay vigilant Android fans.
