'Harry Potter' Returns to Theaters with Fantastic Beasts Trilogy
Fans of "Harry Potter" should rejoice since "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" is going to be a trilogy and their first film will hit theater in the year 2016.
According to NY Daily News, the movies will usually follow the life of their author named Newt Scamander together with some other characters. Most of the scenes will take place in the year 1920s which is about 70 years when the story of Harry begins.
In line with this, the trilogy is slated to be released over the next six years. David Yates who directed the last 4 movies of Harry Potter will be returning to direct the trilogy. In connection to this the studio announced a supersized slate of ten films that are based on DC superheroes in the next six years. Kevin Tsujihara confirmed that Harry Potter prequel entitled "Fantastic Beast and where to find them" would be the first part of their trilogy.
The first movie that is set 70 years before Harry was born was written by J.K Rowlings and directed by the veteran director David Yates. The first part of the trilogy is scheduled on November 18, 2016. This is also inspired by Hogwarts textbook that is written by fictional writer Newt Scamande. The overall story is billed by Rowling as neither a sequel nor a prequel to the series of "Harry Potter" but also it is an extension of wizarding world. Furthermore, the second and third installment of the extension is slated in the year 2018 and 2020.
The eight films of "Harry Potter" films earned 7.7 billion dollars worldwide and this is one of the reasons why "Harry Potter" series are recognized as the most lucrative film in the history of franchise. For those people who really love to watch the series of "Harry Potter," the "Fantastic Beasts" trilogy is the best trilogy film that you should not miss to watch. As IGN mentioned, fans will surely love the new genre of the "Harry Potter" film.
