Over the last few years, we've seen a surprising number of original science fiction films. From "Chronicle to Gravity," different film studios are now very busy working with different interesting filmmakers with ideas that are really out of this world, literally. Now, we present to you a review on today's latest, most awaited upcoming adventure - mystery - sci-fi film, from the creative mind of Christopher Nolan, "Interstellar."
But what do we have to expect in this movie? Who will star in it? What's the deal with Interstellar? Read on to find out more!
Let's talk about the director of the film. Christopher Nolan already directed several films. His first feature is "Following," followed by "Memento," then he became more popular when he directed the "Batman Begins," and started bringing big ideas to the blockbuster stage with "Inception." Now he is working on his new film, "Interstellar."
It seems like Christopher Nolan's entire career has been leading up to the making of "Interstellar." According to Cinema Blend, The British filmmaker officially signed on to direct the film in March of last year, and it will be the first time that his films take us beyond the boundaries of Earth. Like he did with both "The Dark Knight " and "The Dark Knight Rises," he is using IMAX cameras to shoot a great deal of footage - including some shots involving a Learjet.
Now, let's talk about Interstellar. From IMDb.com, this is a story of a group of explorers who used a recently discovered wormhole to organize a mission of human space travel and conquer the immense distances in an interstellar journey. This film is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America.
The film has caused some people who aren't film-tech-literate to ask what's the difference between the formats are if you will watch this film, and which theatre format will be the "best" to see the movie in. well some say this film is better to watch in different I-Max theatre for a better viewing experience.
"Interstellar" will be released in theatres in US starting 7th of November 2014 and don't forget to check out the trailer below.
