Game Of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers, Premiere, Casting And Latest Reveals: Game Of Thrones Season 5 To Premiere With Something New With A Flashback Into The Past Life Of A Major Character
We have the latest for you on the spoilers, premiere, casting and latest reveals of Game of Thrones season 5. The 5th season of "Game of Thrones" is expected to return in April 2015. When the 5th season of the series gets to premiere, the fans will be treated with a flashback. Up to this point, all the action has remained in the fictional present. However, the executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss revealed that they would go into a character's past for one scene in one of the episodes.
According to IBTimes, Benioff and Weiss confirmed that the flashback would be there during a Q&A with students in Spain. One of the producers said, "By making the first season, we set a rule, No prophecies, dreams or flashbacks. We failed the first two and this season the third. So yes, this season will finally have flashbacks. However, the executive producers did not give any details on who the flashback would focus on. They only hinted that it could be the opening scene in the premiere episode. According to IBTimes, there are four possibilities on who the flashback would cover, and we'll take a look at the four possibilities.
There is a possibility that the flashback could focus on Tryon. After Tryon's killing spree in the finale of season 4, he will be fleeing to the South in the upcoming season. As he will be trying to start up a life in exile, a flashback might show the fans another side of the character. The flashback could also focus on Cersei Lannister. There has been a lot of talk about Cersei's walk of shame in the upcoming season. With Cersei having to own up to some of her mistakes, there might be some flashbacks showing a self-reflection of some of the bad things that she could have done.
The flashback could also focus on Tywin Lannister. Despite him being killed in the finale of season 4, it could be that the character will be returning to the series in a flashback. The last possibility could be that Stannis Baratheon is the one who could be focused in the flashback. In the season 4 finale, Stannis surprisingly appeared on the other side of the wall with John Snow and the Wildings. The flashback could be used to explain how he got on the other side. Stay with us for more news.
