'Dark Souls 2': Hundreds of Hours Available On The Disk & The Downloadable Contents
Rumors have been going around that "Dark Souls 2" might provide hundreds of hours of content on its disk plus additional time from each of the downloadable contents of "Crown Trilogy."
All players who have managed to "best" each piece of the trilogy were rewarded access to both crown abilities and prizes that could change the whole game. However, there are millions of fans across the Internet that were able to attach to a few suspicious files appearances and carefully worded sentences as a fuel for all possible future downloadable contents.
After "besting" the "Crown of the Ivory King" final boss as well as coming into the "Dark Souls 2" final boss, all players bearing the Ashen Mist Heart and the access to their individual chambers could proceed to King Vendrick via their armors. While being inside this memory and after a few interesting dialogues, King Vendrick will continue to enchant each one of the crowns, and will even turn his very own crown into the King's True Crown.
The enchantments, also known as the Vendrick's Blessing, will bear several effects on each of the crowns. The commonality between each one is the truth that the"Undead" wearing them will not be returning into being hollow after an incident of death.
From what's been gathered, there are a few loose ends that were answered clearly by the contents of the Crown with regards to what Dark Souls 2 could offer; however, as mentioned, a few holes still remain and could only be answered by possibly another content.
The crown effect that provides protection against the hollowing will push back the plagues brought about by the curse, but the player's "Undead" while putting on the "blessed crown" is protected from the curse.
While this blessing brings a close to the narrative, which curses its land for a specific character, crowns aren't the only collected objects that can be found inside the downloadable content. Nadalia, Nashandra, Alsanna, and Elana are Manus' shards, the dark soul's primordial carrier. Their souls, together with Verstadt's dark soul portions, the Throne Defender and Watcher, as well as the Fume Knight can also be collected through the content.
