Google Nexus 6 vs HTC One Max Features, Specs, Display, Memory, Hardware and Latest News: A Comprehensive Review and Comparison
This year's Nexus series expands with the Motorola platform. The sixth instalment of Nexus smartphones is named numerically as Nexus 6. Even after having massive specification, the competitive smartphone arena might give this iconic device a hard battle. This month another same screen size smartphone was released a year ago from the HTC platform named HTC One Max. Let's check a review on both the phones.
The display type of the Nexus 6 includes AMOLED capacitive touchscreen projected in a 5.96-inch screen size. The display resolution and pixel density is very impressive with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and 493 pixels per inch pixel density. Other phone HTC One Max clearly trails the display quality department with 1080 x 1920-pixel resolution framed in a 5.9-inch display. The pixel density is moderate but still lacks compared to Nexus 6 with 373 pixels per inch pixel density along with Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display. Both the phones are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to prevent unwanted scratches.
The Nexus 6 clearly claims the crown when it comes to the camera quality segment. Nexus 6 features a 13MP back camera along wit 2MP front camera. The primary camera is capable of recording 2160p videos at 30 frames per second. HTC One Max s equipped with only 4MP rear camera sensor and moderate 2.1MP front camera sensor. Therefore, One Max stands nowhere near to the rear camera sensor of the Nexus 6.
The hardware specification eye catching considering Nexus 6 as it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset that is powered by Quad-Core 2.7GHz Krait 450 processor. The GPU is adorned with 420 emulator the same chip that comes in Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. On the other hand, HTC One Max is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset that configures a Quad-Core 1.7GHz Krait 300 processor. The GPU segment is provided with an Adreno 320 chip that performs decently.
The nexus 6 comes with 32/64GB model of internal storage but misses the external storage facility while HTC One Max provides 16/32GB internal storage model with 64GB expandable memory slot facility. Latest Android 5.0 (lollypop) operates nexus 6 while HTC One Max runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
