Nicholas Cage's "Left Behind" Available Now on DVD and Blu-Ray
Out this week is on DVD and Blu-Ray is the apocalyptic thrlller film "Left Behind." The blockbuster movie is directed by Vic Armstrong and written by Paul LaLonde and John Patus. Based on the novel of the same titular, the movie stars Nicholas Cage, Chad Michael Murray, Cassi Thomson, Nicky Whelan and Jordin Sparks.
The story revolves around the apocalytic time when the entire planet is thrown into mayhem when millions of people disappear without a trace -- all that remains are their clothes and belongings. Unmanned vehicles crash and planes fall from the sky, overwhelming emergency forces and causing massive gridlock, riots and chaos. Airline pilot Ray Steele (Nicolas Cage) struggles to save the lives of the passengers who remain on his flight, while his daughter (Cassi Thomson) races to find her brother and mother, both of whom have disappeared.
Recently rated "Faith Friendly for ages 12+" by the Dove Foundation, the film received a five star review and can be found on the Foundation's website (www.dove.org).
'Left Behind' on Blu-ray is valued at $34.99 and on DVD is valued at $29.99. The special features included behind the scenes featurette and slideshow, as well as interviews with the cast and crew, the author's Reflections.
