WAR ROOM DVD is Now #1

WAR ROOM, the #1 theatrical faith-based movie about the importance of prayer, has been released as a DVD and Blu-ray. The DVD is currently at #1 and it's the best selling DVD in the country.
"We are thrilled that WAR ROOM is the #1 DVD in America following its record-breaking theatrical run," said Provident Films SVP Ben Howard. "We anticipate the sales trajectory will continue."
The promotional efforts for WAR ROOM by Provident Films continues into 2016. The film is nominated in several MovieGuide award categories with winners to be announced February 5th. Additionally, Priscilla Shirer will participate in the 2016 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration February 5th. Additional events are planned throughout the year focused on the power of prayer.
The faith and family drama focuses on the transformative power of prayer. The PG-rated film centers on a seemingly perfect family who find desperately needed help for their hidden problems from a wise, elderly widow named Miss Clara. Directed by Alex Kendrick, produced by Stephen Kendrick, and written by Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick, WAR ROOM stars best-selling author Priscilla C. Shirer (New York Times best-selling author and Bible teacher), T.C. Stallings (Courageous), Karen Abercrombie (Rose from the Dead) and Beth Moore (New York Times best-selling author and Bible teacher) with Alex Kendrick (Courageous) and comedian Michael Jr. (The Clean Stand Up Comedy Tour).
