Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes Welcome Their First Born Son

Worship leader and songwriter Kari Jobe and fellow worship leader and her husband Cody Carnes have welcomed their first child, a son named Canyon Morrison Caine Carnes. He was born at 9 pounds and 13 ounces, 22.5 inches tall on February 18.
Kari Jobe writes: "Introducing our sweet angel: Canyon Morrison Caine Carnes."
Jobe first made the announcement that she was pregnant on her Facebook page by sharing an adorable photo of her standing side by side with Carnes. Both of them hold a guitar on one hand and, between them, they hold a small guitar using their other hands. "Adding a member to the band in February 2016!! #BabyCarnes," Jobe wrote.
"Congratulations! Praying for perfect health, perfect peace, perfect love, and perfect delivery for you and your precious tiny gift," a fan commented on her photo. Another person wrote: "Completely happy for you! Your ministry has blessed me beyond reason! I had wondered if your pretty little top was flowing for a reason! God is going to bless you and your new addition beyond reason! Be blessed mommy and daddy!!!"
Christian personality Patricia King left a message of congratulations: "You both are a great blessing to the Body and we decree your child will be a world shaker for the Kingdom of God. All the days of your child's life will be full of the blessing and favor of God. Love what God is doing through you both!"
Jobe and Carnes tied the knot in November 2014. The Christian singer recently described her wedding as more than a dream and more than a reality. For Jobe, it was simply a "taste of heaven."
